These groups
need your help to fund the preservation and conservation of important
artifacts in their collections. The Museum of New Hampshire History
has textile artifacts such as the vest Pierce wore at his inauguration,
and a feather jacket given to him by the Mexican government that
need to be conserved.
The Homestead
needs a grant to preserve 1824 wallpaper in the sites parlor,
and conserve a robe believed to be a gift from the government of
Japan. The Manse needs volunteer help, and wants to have its collections
assessed.
Get involved,
make a difference, protect our national heritage.
